Hello there! Thanks for visiting Lilolu (lē-lō-loo). I'm new to knitting, crocheting, and sewing and loving every bit of my creative journey. Photography, quotes, and poetry are just a few things I enjoy. I also love to learn about...well...everything! I'm always a mother first but I like to call myself the life coach of three amazing kids. I'm a partner/wife to my best friend - who happens to be one of the funniest people I know. My children were the inspiration for the name Lilolu and this blog. For me Lilolu means "to seek". My kids inspire me to seek deep within myself all the time, especially, during chaotic moments. What exactly am I seeking? I seek wisdom, to live a simple life, fun but most of all truth...my truth.
As quoted by Galileo, " All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered; the point is to discover them."
My hope is to find inspiration through you and maybe give you a little as well. Life is beautiful and we should soak it up as much as we can. Take a look around...I hope what you see leaves you with a little bit of joy.

What many of you don’t know is why I really began this blog. After having my wonderful children, I did as any mother would do, I gave them every little bit of my mind and soul. Then one day I realized there was nothing left for me and I was no longer the mother I wanted to be. I thought, “How did this happen? There has to be a way to live a balanced life.” What I needed was a way to express myself.
This blog has allowed me to express what I love and learn from all of you out there. I am truly grateful and so blessed to have met so many wonderful people from around the globe. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful journey with me and helping me regain the light in my soul. My family has truly benefited by it.
