Through MyBlogSpark, Pillsbury sent our family a VIP coupon for Pillsbury Pizza Crust, four pizza plates and the very fun game Pictureka. Our assignment was to create a family pizza party. My children were so excited for the night to begin. We had a choice between the Pillsbury Classic Crust and Pillsbury Thin Crust. So, we decided to go with the Classic. Since we are a family of five I had to get 3 of them. The first was made with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese, the second with sauce, cheese, mushrooms and pepperoni, and the third with sauce, cheese and ham.
It was quick, fun and easy to make. Now for the taste...well, here is what my family said:
Papa: "Crust is a bit thick but great for quick dinners."
Wolfgang: "It's okay." (He had three slices...I'm pretty sure he liked it)
Henry: "It's yummy...I like it...can I have another plain slice, please."
Bella: "It's awesome! I want another slice too."
I thought it was quick, easy and fun to make. The classic was a bit thick and doughy. I probably should have tried the thin crust. This really isn't fair to Pillsbury because we are New Yorkers and use to eating New York City style pizza. You really can't compare the two. Overall, it was a fun and tasty experience.
The Pictureka game was a blast! The game box states it's for 8+ but Henry is 4 and was able to keep up with us. The purpose is to collect a total of six cards to be claimed the winner, by finding pictures but we were having such a good time we kept playing. As a matter of fact, we played for about an hour and a half. I think my favorite part was hearing Little Henry shout, "Yea baby, now that's what I'm talking about!" Where does he get this from?
